This is a very common technique. Worked at a salvage auction. Received about 100 cars a day. This is the standard I am not throwing away my shot shirt  for customer cars at their own homes lol. He’s clearly new and wanting to show off his new found talent.It’s almost impossible to hire qualified drivers outside of major cities or a place with a pretty large labor pool. It requires a minimum degree of spatial reasoning, a willingness to work really shitty hours and often under shitty conditions. Occasional tows demand serious smarts to safely resolve. Also doesn’t pay well enough for how often they get woken up.
