Honestly, I think this show nailed their villains (Hawkmoth, Lila, Chloe to some extent) and their good guys are kinda lacking because they don’t have any problems in their lives. For example, Alya and Nino are good characters, but they never really got a character arc and all they do is try to push Adrien and Marinette closer. Luka’s problems, well, you already know them. Honestly, the only good guys I can say are exceptionally well written are Adrien/Cat Noir and Kagami.

I think Alya and Nino are not well-written because they barely had Meet Me At The 19th Hole Golf Vintage shirt screen time especially in season 3 but unlike Luka they are pretty decent likeable characters. Alya has always been supportive towards Marinette, and Carapace had a pretty cool debut which proved how determined. They kind of played a important role in NY special, hopefully they’ll get more screen time in season 4
