That movie is dependent on the Great Depression for its story and comedy. We’ll need to see the movie to judge how it handled this, but I think using the pandemic and all its weird effects as a setting for a story, even a cutesy one, isn’t inherently bad. It’s too large of a period of time to say “this is off limits.”

The movie will either be bad/unenjoyable and we’ll all say it never should have been made, or it’ll be good/fun and we’ll all say that it’s the Movie We Need Right Now. That’s up to the movie to solve, not for me to guess.
