The law says any Georgian can challenge the voting eligibility of an unlimited number of voters. Activists say this will make it to easier Pretend Im a School Bus Halloween Party Costume shirt conservative groups to attempt to purge large groups of Black voters or others they think will support Democrats.Attempts to challenge voters’ eligibility are not new. Ahead of January US Senate runoffs, Texas-based conservative organization True the Vote paired up with the Georgia Republican Party and tried to challenge more than 360,000 Georgia voters that it said may have changed addresses. Most counties declined to take up the matter.Just to clear some info up (not speaking for all Georgians, just family and friends from hometown) there’s is not a real problem with voter IDs among people. A bit of a hassle but “sure whatever” is the general response. The problem is the voting hours, (people get off work at 5PM why close polling locations at 5PM? That’s sketch) , trying to stop souls to the polls (again what is wrong going to vote with your church family?), obviously making water illegal to handout. I don’t believe for one a second a person who is determined to wait in line for hours in this Georgia humid heat would be easily swayed to vote for the other candidate because he/she got a bottle of water. Everyone in GA (Atlanta/Savannah/Macon/mostly) knows how long it is to vote and usually comes prepared to wait for some time. With that being said water/snack issue just comes off as spiteful.

Count the fact that most polling places in metro areas in Georgia always has some Pretend Im a School Bus Halloween Party Costume shirt issue with a faulty machine/machines, which then in turn, limits the amount of people who can vote at a given time, which increases the line, which increases the time it takes to vote. Another important fact to point out is the Secretary of State is the one who oversees elections. Why send out faulty machines in metro areas but non metro areas are usually A-ok? This ties in with Stacey Abrams and the issue with Brian Kemp with the governor race, as Brian Kemp was the Secretary of State for the election he was running in, in other words, was able to make the rules to the race. There’s been a lot of fuckery in Georgia when it comes to allowing people to vote. I hope I was able to explain things in a decent manner, but please check all sources and fact check me as well as I am not perfect, I just piece things together.
