Imo, I think Lukanette was poorly written since the ship is just Luka simping for Marinette while Marinette involuntarily simps for Adrien. I do think that the age thing is a problem especially for a teenage relationship, though I don’t think that would be a problem if they were both adults. I also think that Luka existed only as a Kagami for Marinette so that if Adrien did happen to start dating Kagami, Marinette would have a backup plan (Luka also is kinda a rival for Adrien in kinda the same way that Kagami is a rival for Marinette). I also think that when Luka was introduced, he was only created to give Marinette a date to that ice rink double date with Adrien and Kagami, and he just turned into a Marinette simp later on.
