I served in Vietnam early on as an enlisted Marine…a volunteer, not a We love life on both sides of the womb shirt. Those years I made Christmas dinner the week before so we could keep our fridge fairly empty since we would be gone for a week. Glass ornaments were being imported into Britain from Lauscha, in Thuringia, by the 1870’s. It became a status symbol to have glass ornaments on the tree.

Last year, local thugs in pakistan blew up churches just before Christmas. So CAB, which includes Christians, will help them for sure. There is nothing special about it being introduced before Christmas, but I am sure they will be grateful for having this provision.
