I’m loving the general lack of fucks given this year in zoom interviews. I don’t think it’d be healthy long term,Worship Me Tee By Ghost And Darkness Shirt i think it’s good that players (and reporters) can get some of this stuff off their chest but without having to deal with awkward confrontations in person. I think with all the added stress of the pandemic, having to do interviews in person could get ugly.I’ve really liked interviews this year. Instead of an open locker room where the reporters flock to the stars, the Pens, at least, have made lesser fame players that had big games available, and it’s been refreshing to hear their opinionsI know the interviews during the games at intermission are kind of bland but this season is the first time I’ve ever seen a local broadcast interviewing the other teams players. I think it’s pretty cool tbh.

Well, there was one more from Sid… when asked what he thought about Auston Mathews’ 4 goal-1st-game, Sid said, ‘you call tell he played professional last year’. Which is true, you could. You just know if it was someone on his own team he would have spoken accolades. If someone told Henrik Sedin that his brother Daniel got 4 goals in his first game, Henrik would have “Well it can’t be that hard if Daniel did it”. Man, i loved the ribbing between the two twins.I feel like a Worship Me Tee By Ghost And Darkness Shirt among CBJ fans, but every moment of the “Dubinsky antagonizing Crosby saga” has been embarrassing. The only positive impact Dubinsky had on those CBJ/Penguins matchups were the very rare matching penalties he was able to draw Crosby into. I mean ffs if your gameplan is to goad an important member of the pens into doing dumb shit, your target should have been Malkin or Letang. At no point did Dubinsky come even remotely close to getting the better of Crosby, and it felt like he just got more desperate as the years went on, culminating in the absolutely fucking embarrassing cross check to the neck incident. All of this against a guy who had a history of concussions and neck injuries.I was somewhat hopeful I would stop having to hear about Brandon Dubinsky when he was LTIRetired, but no, he’s doing dumb shit, and with how little CBJ coverage there is, this garage podcast interview manages to float to the top.For the other CBJ fans who want to lambaste me for this take, just know that I appreciate everything Dubinsky did for the franchise outside of the Crosby bullshit. The nonsense with Crosby is made even more embarrassing by the obversation that he was clearly more than capable of being a positive force in the organization and league in many other situations.
