Different parts of the Bible have different meanings for certain individuals do they not? Why argue when we are all as one supporting Christ and spreading the message together?! Shouldn’t we be loving others and treating them as we would want to be or would God want us to treat them?

I agree completely with kelly. I have plenty of people in my church fellowship that have tattoos that are based on God or someone in their family that they lost. Like You can take the girl out of Texas but can’t take the Texas out of shirt, God has a unique plan for each of us and maybe getting a tattoo is in that plan, bc it might open door in someone else’s life that nothing else could.

I’ve thought in the past about getting a tattoo of a cross or something, but I finally decided against it bc I don’t need a permanent marking on my skin to show the You can take the girl out of Texas but can’t take the Texas out of shirt, I show that by my actions and words. God doesn’t condemn us by out ward things like tattoos and wearing a nose ring, or short shorts, he judges by the heart. And yes our body is a temple, so we should take care of it as a holy child should, but that doesn’t mean we can’t “paint a mural” on it, as Kelley said. Not all tattoos are bad. It’s all about Gods will for YOU individually.
